A court schedule says Madonna and Guy Ritchie will be granted the first stage of their divorce in London Friday.
London’s High Court lists “Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S” as one of 16 cases for “matrimonial and civil partnership causes for pronouncement of decree.”

Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, are expecting their second child, the R&B sensation confirmed to Access Hollywood on Wednesday night.
Reports of a second child had been rumored, however, the singer had yet to confirm until now.
“Definitively. We’re actually expecting, if you didn’t hear, in December” Usher told Access backstage at his concert at LA’s Club Nokia on Wednesday. “One of the best Christmas gifts there is to have!”

Michael Jackson has agreed to appear in person at a London court to respond to a Bahraini sheik’s $7 million lawsuit, the singer’s lawyer said Thursday.
Jackson had asked to testify by a video link from the U.S. because of an unspecified illness. But his lawyer, Robert Englehart, informed the court Thursday that Jackson “has been cleared by his medical advisers to travel in two days’ time.”
The singer is scheduled to give evidence at the High Court on
Monday.

Ben Affleck is visiting refugee camps in war-torn eastern Congo, where at least 250,000 people have been displaced by recent fighting, and says more aid money is needed.
The actor has visited the Central African country four times since 2007 and also has made a documentary about its problems.
Years of sporadic violence in eastern Congo intensified in August, when fighting heated up between the army and fighters loyal to rebel leader Laurent Nkunda.
