LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Yesterday I headed down to the uber-hip Echo Park neighborhood here in Los Angeles to hang out on the set of a new TheWB.com series called “Rockville, CA.” It’s a web only series created and executive produced by Josh Schwartz, the man behind “Gossip Girl,” “Chuck,” and the late “OC.” The show is a drama that centers on a group of LA hipsters who work at the fictional Rockville club and will feature performances from some very cool indie bands. The show’s second season begins Sept. 1, following an August promotion to put viewers, um, in the mood. And here’s a twist: The racy ads co-opt language from the very criticism of the show for being too, well, racy.

Blake Lively wants to set the record straight – just because she plays a fun-loving socialite on TV, that doesn’t mean she is one in real life.
“I once heard someone say that I’m similar to Paris Hilton – since I have a dog and blonde hair, that must mean we’re alike,” the “Gossip Girl” star told Seventeen magazine. “It’s a dumb thing to say. I don’t think that makes Paris and me similar … I don’t go to clubs, I don’t party, I don’t dance on tables, and I don’t like sex tapes.”
