Brad was spotted in the Westwood area of LA at the Bruin Theatre and was swarmed by paparazzi upon his arrival.

The actor, who reportedly arrived a half-hour early for the screening, was manhandled by security hired by the theater when photographers surrounded him. Brad was reportedly grabbed, pushed and spun around by the guard.

The race for President may be over, but in Hollywood, the battle over Proposition 8, which would eliminate gay marriage in California, rages on.

Proposition 8, which seeks to put a line in the California Constitution defining marriage as only between a man and a woman, and which was opposed by many Hollywood celebrities, was separated by less than half a million votes mid-day on Wednesday.

Over 10 million votes had been tallied, with 97% of the precincts reporting, but on Wednesday morning, an estimated 3 to 4 million absentee and provisional ballots had not yet been counted, according to various reports.

And one outspoken celebrity, George Takei, is vowing to continue the fight!

During a discussion over which of her films she lets the couple’s children see, Jolie told the NY Times, so far it’s just “Kung-Fu Panda,” but she noted she looks forward to the day when the kids can watch 2005’s “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.”

“Not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love,” Jolie said in article running in the Arts & Leisure section this Sunday

The quote, however, caused eyebrows to raise, as the movie actually began filming while Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

The first homes in Brad Pitt’s Make It Right rebuilding project are complete, and some three years after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans, 68-year-old grandmother Gloria Guy was on hand to give the actor a big hug.

According to the trade, Brad will play Lt. Aldo Raine, a Southern rebel turned Jewish resistance leader, who leads eight Jewish American soldiers on a campaign of vengeance on Nazis in German-occupied France.

Other actors reportedly still in talks to join the cast include Simon Pegg, David Krumholtz, B.J. Novak, Eli Roth and Nastassja Kinski.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that, “Pegg would play a British lieutenant. Krumholtz’s part would be that of a member of Pitt’s team.”
