LONDON, U.K. --
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon waited until their wedding to take their relationship to the next level, the superstar singer revealed to the Daily Mirror on Friday.
“It’s not that we had no intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” she told the U.K. newspaper. “It’s just me, and my feelings. I definitely don’t want to push it on anybody else. But we both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married. And it was, and it still is.”

However, her rep tells Access Hollywood that, “Jennifer Lopez did not do an interview for the Daily Beast.”
Lopez did, however, do an interview with Sessums for this month’s ELLE cover story, but after the first session took place of what was supposed to be a two-part interview, Lopez and her team “weren’t comfortable with the questioning,” according to her rep, who acknowledged that they asked that another writer interview Lopez instead.
