Nicole Kidman, beautiful in a jeweled green satin duchess Prada dress from the Resort 2009 collection, was honored with the Icon Award for her impact on the film industry.
“It was a surprise to me… but at the same time its left me both in a state of gratitude and appreciating at 41, all of the things that I’ve been given through, through my life so far, and it’s just a lovely, lovely thing to, to sort of look back, as well as I hope, still look forward.”

IMUS-THE LATEST: CBS pulled the rug out from under Don Imus today, but he was already wobbly on his feet after similar action was taken yesterday by MSNBC. All this in light of the cowboy-hatted Shock Jock’s ill-conceived comments about the Women of Rutgers Basketball. Meanwhile protests over this matter are taking on a different tone. And now Imus is not the only target. In Los Angeles one group of activists met at the Laugh Factory to put pressure on CBS (it worked) while another coalition of activists began calling for a moratorium on the use of the words “Ho, Bitch and other misogynist language used by gangsta rappers.” And they are calling for a boycott of the upcoming BET Awards (BET is also owned by Viacom, which owns CBS) because the show has (in the past) featured such performers. We talked to BET today and so far they have no list of performers for this year’s awards, which happen in June.

Halle Berry is pregnant, she confirmed exclusively to Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell.
The
41-year-old actress revealed the news in an e-mail to Nancy on Tuesday
that she is three months pregnant with boyfriend Gabriel Aubry’s baby.
“Yes,
I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I’ve
waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next seven months
will be the longest of my life!” she wrote to Nancy. “Can’t wait to see
you and give you a squeeze and see a pic of your little sweetie. Until
then, you heard it from ME first!”
Upon hearing the news, Nancy was elated for her good friend.
“I
am beyond ecstatic for my friend Halle! I told her she is about to
embark on the best time of her life! She is such a sweet person…so
genuine…and therefore, will make an incredible mom. And can you
imagine how gorgeous this baby is gonna be! Halle sent me the most
adorable bunch of clothes for my new baby…I can’t wait to do the same
