As a fan of the genre, I’m always impressed with the ability to take a regular pop song, and turn it into something completely different – something that you can hear out in the clubs or work out to at the gym – it’s an art form in and of itself.

After canceling several dates, Janet Jackson will resume her “Rock Witchu” tour tonight at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., Access Hollywood has learned.
The singer’s symptoms that forced her to cancel stops on her tour are being caused by a rare form of a migraine called vestibular migraine or migraine-associated vertigo. Janet is currently receiving treatment, according to a statement released to Access.

The doctor has again ordered Janet Jackson to postpone a return to her “Rock Witchu” tour.
Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour Monday night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York after canceling a show over the weekend in Connecticut. A message posted on the resort and casino’s Web site stated the show had been canceled at the advice of Jackson’s doctor.

A federal appeals court on Monday threw out a $550,000 indecency fine against CBS Corp. for the 2004 Super Bowl halftime show that ended with Janet Jackson’s breast-baring “wardrobe malfunction.”
The three-judge panel of the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Federal Communications Commission “acted arbitrarily and capriciously” in issuing the fine for the fleeting image of nudity.
