Lindsay Lohan has had her fair share of ups and downs during her time in the glaring spotlight of Hollywood, but the actress told guest interviewer Lauren Hutton in Interview magazine’s February issue that she feels the public is not ready to accept that she’s grown and changed as a result of her past indiscretions.
“You know what’s hard? I want to give back. I want to do all the things that will make me feel fulfilled. But whenever I do those things, people think it’s a press stunt or something,” Lindsay told Lauren when asked about the toughest part of celebrity life. “There are things I want to do, and people don’t understand that.”

Tara Reid is still in rehab, a rep for the star told Access Hollywood on Sunday evening.
According to People, the star is “doing well” at the Promises Treatment Facility in Malibu, but earlier on Sunday, the mag quoted a source as saying Tara had checked out on Saturday. The quote has since been removed.
“The reports that she is done are not true,” Reid’s rep told Access.
The star has been at Promises for under a month. A rep for the facility had no comment when reached by Access.

According to Star Magazine, Malibu’s Promises Treatment Center footed the bill for Tara Reid’s visit to get help for an undisclosed reason, however, the center told Access that the claims are completely false.

A British court on Monday rejected an appeal by the husband of singer Amy Winehouse against his sentence for assault and obstructing justice.
Blake Fielder-Civil was sentenced in July to 27 months in prison for beating up pub manager James King and then offering him a bribe to keep quiet about it. Fielder-Civil, who had spent nine months in jail awaiting trial, was released earlier this month on condition he live at a drug rehabilitation center.

A judge ordered Mackenzie Phillips to enter a drug treatment program after the former “One Day at a Time” star pleaded guilty to cocaine possession on Friday.
The ruling comes following the actress’ arrest in August at Los Angeles International Airport, where she was found carrying “what appeared to be heroin and cocaine in baggies and balloons,” airport police said at the time.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank [police] for stopping me, and probably saving my life,” Phillips told the judge at Friday’s hearing.
