Last night we learned that yet another incident occurred on the “Dancing With The Stars” set. Julianne Hough was taken to the hospital after complaining of stomach problems. Brooke Burke just hurt her foot while rehearsing on Sunday.
Some would say it’s just a physically demanding show where amateurs are taking on dancing challenges they have never done before - so, injuries are bound to happen. Others are saying the stage is “cursed.”
Two weeks ago I posted, in my blog, my research about CBS Television City where the show is taped. The lot used to be occupied by a place called Gilmore Stadium, which was used as a football field and a racetrack. Five racecar drivers died on the racetrack in its 18-year history. Prior to that, it was an oil field. This so called “curse” began in season five when Helio Castroneves, the racecar driver, first joined the show. So, I wanted to investigate this and see if maybe there actually was a connection.

It was no joke when Heidi took a spill on-stage at the Emmy Awards along with the help of co-host Tom Bergeron in order to demonstrate the difference between the “drama” and “comedy” categories.
To demonstrate “drama,” the “Project Runway” beauty fell dramatically into the arms of the “Dancing With the Stars” host.
And then, to demonstrate “comedy”… he dropped her!
But maybe the two should have rehearsed a bit more beforehand, because Heidi ended up with an anything-but-runway-ready-sized bruise on her right thigh.

Maybe Harry Potter should have brought a note from his parents saying he would be missing school.
Warner Bros. gave Harry the school year off, announcing last week it was bumping the sixth movie in the series from fall to next summer. But Entertainment Weekly — which shares the studio’s parent company, Time Warner Inc. — was unaware, featuring “Potter” star Daniel Radcliffe on the cover of its Aug. 22-29 fall-preview issue.

A private equity firm is looking to cash in on Michael Jackson.
The Los Angeles-based Colony Capital, which bailed Jackson out when his Neverland Ranch was almost in foreclosure, has approached the self-proclaimed King of Pop about becoming a Vegas act, a source close to the discussions tells Access.
According to the source, among the options being discussed as a form of repayment for the $23 million Colony Capital shelled out to save Jackson, is having the singer perform up to 180 days at a custom-built theater at the Las Vegas Hilton, which is owned (conveniently enough) by the investment firm.
